Mechanical Technician

A Mechanical Technician installs, maintains, and repairs mechanical systems and equipment. They troubleshoot issues, perform routine maintenance, and ensure machinery operates safely and efficiently. They work with various tools and equipment, often collaborating with engineers and other technicians to resolve complex problems and improve system performance. 

• Installation and Maintenance:

  Installing new mechanical systems, upgrading existing ones, and conducting routine maintenance on various equipment.     

• Troubleshooting and Repair:

  Diagnosing and repairing mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, including disassembling and reassembling components.     

• Record Keeping:

  Maintaining accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, often using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).     

• Safety Compliance:

  Ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations during all tasks.     

• Material Management:

  Monitoring the availability of parts and supplies, and replenishing them as needed.     

• Quality Assurance:

  Testing mechanical components for functionality and performance, and calibrating machinery settings.     

• Operating Tools:
