1. Mechanical Engineer – Efficiency Cell

Key Responsibilities:

• Optimize fuel consumption and improve plant efficiency.
• Reduce fuel, steam, water, and ash losses.
• Record and report daily shift-wise manpower to the superior.
• Ensure overall housekeeping and hygiene of the plant.
• Monitor and maintain the quality of boiler feed water.
• Conduct routine checks on all mechanical equipment and report abnormalities.
• Implement and follow preventive maintenance practices.
• Ensure safety of manpower, report unsafe acts, and log near-miss incidents.
• Share hourly steam distribution data with the defined management group.
• Coordinate with clients for steam flow and pressure-related concerns.
• Adhere to company safety protocols and SOPs across all operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with IBR (Indian Boiler Regulations) and verify IBR material specifications and certifications.
• Assist in reviewing pipeline routing, drawings (P&ID, GA, Isometric), and planning optimal routes.
• Prepare material requirement lists and raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) in SAP.
• Track and update material status based on project needs.
• Supervise pipeline erection and installation, including supports and fittings.
• Ensure quality control via QAP, NDT procedures, and hydrotesting.
• Coordinate with IBR authorities for inspections and maintain accurate documentation.
• Conduct regular toolbox talks, ensure PPE compliance, and manage site manpower planning.
• Share daily progress reports (DPR), manpower details, and updates with the reporting authority.
• Assist in drawing submission, measurement verification, client billing, and project handover.
• Maintain all reporting formats and documentation as instructed.
