Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Engineer specializing in LPG/LNG/CNG, based in Mumbai. The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks including troubleshooting, managing preventive maintenance, overseeing the electrical engineering aspects, and ensuring effective maintenance management. The role requires collaboration with various teams to maintain the operational efficiency and safety of LPG/LNG/CNG systems.

• Develop, specify, and apply riser system design criteria for a wide variety of activities, developments, and operations, i.e., large-scale deepwater capital projects, R&D programs, and offshore installation activities opportunities.
• Get involved in various riser, flexibles, or umbilicals engineering activities for deepwater projects from concept evaluation and selection to installation to commissioning, and start-up
• Execute and/or oversee riser analysis studies (conducted by our internal resources and/or third-party companies) to support riser system design (i.e., strength, fatigue, interference)
• Evaluate the strengths and shortcomings of different riser design philosophies.
• Lead revisions to company standards and/or industry practices.
• Interface with engineers from other disciplines (e.g., marine, pipelines, flow assurance, materials) to align on work scopes and work products.
• Interface with suppliers, contractors, and other third parties to ensure work products are in alignment with our expectations.
• Participate in offshore industry activities such as conferences and committees.
• Field visits to project locations, vendor premises, production units, etc
• Participate in risk assessments, technology evaluations/selections, and fitness for service assessments.

KRA

1. Keep track of the GPS tracking of the Valsad tanker.
2. To make the DPR Report every day.
3. Monitoring SCADA during LNG dispensing in trucks.
4. Reporting of BOG daily basis.
5. To sort the BOG issue totally.
6. Prepare the Valsad report and also prepare LNG Unloading SOPs.
7. To arrange non-sparking tools for the LNG Valsad pump                                                             

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Troubleshooting and Preventive Maintenance
• Proficiency in Electrical Engineering
• Experience in Maintenance Management
• Excellent Communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
• Ability to work on-site in Mumbai
• Relevant certifications or licenses for handling LPG/LNG/CNG systems are a plus
