General Manager Operations - LPG/LNG/CNG

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Mumbai for a General Manager Operations - LPG/LNG/CNG. The General This role requires strong leadership skills to manage diverse teams effectively.

The General Manager / Operations Manager will lead the strategic execution of critical infrastructure projects, including the LNG pump setup and commercial heavy bus conversion initiative. Manager Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth functioning and efficiency. Tasks include managing customer service, team management, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with operational standards.This position requires strong leadership, project execution capabilities, and deep understanding of regulatory, legal, and financial frameworks. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while ensuring compliance, operational efficiency, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Coordination

• Lead the complete execution of LNG pump installations and commercial bus conversion projects.
• Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and government authorities for smooth and timely implementation.
• Liaise between engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment and progress.
• Identify project risks or delays and implement corrective measures.

Regulatory & Legal Compliance

• Ensure full compliance with all regulatory, environmental, and safety standards. Familiar with PESO Approval
• Handle legal documentation, including contracts, environmental permits, and statutory records.
• Manage legal aspects of Govt contracts and other institutional agreements.
• Liaise with government bodies for licenses, subsidies, environmental clearances, and policy matters.

Financial Management

• Prepare detailed project budgets and oversee financial performance.
• Monitor expenses, ensure cost control, and manage overall cash flow.
• Liaise with banks and investors for funding requirements and negotiations.
• Oversee financial reporting and ensure timely submissions for internal and external audits.

Legal & Administrative Oversight

• Execute and manage a wide range of legal agreements, MOUs, and POAs.
• Guide management on legal matters and ensure company compliance with statutory regulations.
• Maintain accurate legal and personnel documentation in coordination with HR and compliance teams.

Reporting & Stakeholder Communication

• Ensure effective communication and coordination across departments.
• Prepare and submit comprehensive MIS and project reports to senior management.
• Act as a central point of contact for all internal and external stakeholders involved in project execution.

Qualifications

• Experience in Assistant General Management and Operations Management
• Strong Budgeting skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• Proven track record in managing large-scale operations
• Bachelor's degree in Any Stream, If MBA from a reputed University, or a related field
• Experience in the LPG/LNG/CNG industry is a plus
