Job Description: Mechanical Design Engineer

Location: Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India

Experience: 1 to 3 Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the engineering team to understand project requirements, objectives, and constraints.
• Create and modify detailed mechanical designs using AutoCAD and SolidWorks software.
• Develop 2D and 3D models, assemblies, and drawings, adhering to industry standards and company guidelines.
• Conduct feasibility studies and design simulations to evaluate design concepts and identify potential improvements.
• Generate Bill of Materials (BOM) and documentation for production purposes.
• Participate in design reviews, providing insights, feedback, and recommendations for design enhancements.
• Work closely with manufacturing and production teams to ensure a seamless transition from design to production.
• Oversee the implementation of designs on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards.
• Provide technical support during the installation and commissioning phases of projects.
• Perform site inspections and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the implementation phase.
• Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies related to mechanical design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design projects.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
• Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Willingness to work on-site, including travel to project locations as needed.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
