Mechanical Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer at our company located in Pune, Maharashtra, India, your role will involve designing bespoke automation equipment for the automotive, industrial, and medical device sectors. You will collaborate with the design team to turn innovative concepts into reality using CAD modeling, prototyping, and detailed specifications for manufacturing. Your proficiency in SolidWorks/Creo will be essential for developing complex multi-part CAD assemblies and creating detailed specification drawings. Key Responsibilities: - Design custom automation equipment for various industries. - Collaborate with the design team to bring innovative concepts to life. - Utilize SolidWorks/Creo for developing intricate CAD assemblies and detailed specification drawings. - Lead presentations, project reviews, and ensure high customer service standards. - Manage projects from concept to installation, ensuring they are on schedule and within budget. - Ensure machines comply with CE marking standards and documentation/drawing standards. - Procure materials and components for projects. Qualifications: - Hold a degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline. - Minimum of 3 years of experience with design software, preferably SolidWorks. - Proficiency in project management, documentation, budgeting, and scheduling. - Strong teamwork and communication skills. - Excellent problem-solving abilities. - Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines efficiently.
