Mechanical Design Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Product Design & Development

  of well intervention tools, downhole equipment, and related mechanical systems.
• Perform

  3D modeling, detailing, and design calculations

  using Autodesk Inventor.
• Apply

  GD&T principles

  to ensure precision and manufacturability.
• Prepare

  engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation

  as per standards.
• Ensure compliance with

  API, DNV and ASME standards

  during design and documentation.
• Support

  prototype development, assembly, and testing

  of new designs.
• Collaborate with

  cross-functional teams

  including Sales, Production, QA/QC, and Assembly.
• Provide

  technical support

  to manufacturing, assembly, and field service teams.
• Troubleshoot design-related technical problems and propose improvements.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality procedures.
• Participate in

  design reviews

  and contribute innovative solutions for product improvement.
• Manage multiple design projects and meet deadlines effectively.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelors Degree

  in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum

  3 years of experience

  in product/equipment design engineering (oilfield tools preferred, but product-based industry also acceptable).

• Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor

  (hands-on experience mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of

  GD&T

  and engineering drawing standards.
• Experience in preparing

  operation manuals, technical documents, and design reports

  .
• Strong

  problem-solving skills

  and ability to think creatively.
• Excellent

  verbal and written communication skills

  .
• Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
• Exposure to manufacturing processes, machining, and assembly practices is an advantage.

• Preferred:

  Knowledge of

  API, DNV and ASME standards

  ; experience in oilfield downhole tools/well intervention equipment and Control Module / Skid.
