Aspire Athletic Wear LLP is an upcoming athleisure & athletic premium brand based in Bangalore.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Material & Testing Manager to join our team to

execute our strategic sourcing project, focusing mainly on activewear and Intimates division. In this

role, you will be involved in collaborating with suppliers accountable for the development process

and strategy execution for the assigned product departments, ensuring testing, color approval &

material coordination. You should take ownership to execute the Process and vendor strategies in

partnership with the relevant external and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Require a minimum of 8-12 yrs of experience in Material & Testing

• B.Tech in Textile Technology

• Proficient in Excel, ERP and reporting tools.

• Good communication skills.

• Self-Motivated, Passionate & Positive Attitude as soft skills.

Responsibilities:

- Engage with internal & external business partners to ensure that decisions are based on the

scope of the technical guidelines & specifications. Ability to team up in a process-oriented system.

- Manage and collaborate the product development process in a timely manner (development of

fabrics that meet the design aesthetic as well quality standards). To ensure timely delivery of the

reports to the lab partners/mills/suppliers with meeting all the agreed Requirements e.g., tested

swatches with the report, report e-mail in the asked format, Monthly, statements giving testing

volumes with the sample details etc.

- Maintain relationships with testing labs/mills/vendors and support to ensure quality products.

- Work with sourcing team in research and analysis to identify new sourcing opportunities, cost

saving initiatives, and new suppliers.

-Exposure to international sourcing modules, geographies and knowledge of Importing goods or

materials.

- Ability to drive results through planning and prioritizing along with influencing others and

providing recommendations & solutions.

- To ensure that the testing is done as per the specification provided and help educate the

external/internal supply chain partners for testing protocols.

- Providing all the technical support to the team and value addition in terms of lab visits, small

awareness session on testing / client manual for the staff / vendors.

- Responsible to take corrective & preventive actions whenever required

- Conduct Risk Assessment on Fabrics and Garments, foresee challenges and advise action plan,

to limit the failures in production.

- Prepare and implement Testing and Color manuals to set the Brands requirement to the supply

chain.

- Assess the vendor based on their performance related to Testing and Color submissions.

- NPS (Net Promoter Score.), analysis of the NPS ratings from the customers and take necessary

actions to increase the ratings.

- Returns and Exchanges analysis, based on findings set actions to reduce them, thus increasing

the profits of the Brand.
