As an IT Project Manager with a bias towards Real Estate, you will be responsible for overseeing the IT/AV project life cycle, from defining project controls such as Brief, Business Cases, Scope, Budget & Scheduling to coordinating on-site with the Real Estate Project Team. Your role will involve managing procurement, systems integration, business communication, and the relocation/decommissioning process for offices accommodating 2,000 to 5,000 users. You will be tasked with matrix managing project teams, designing and implementing complex technology projects related to Real Estate development, End User, and Network projects. Collaboration across regions, technology workstreams, and engaging with senior managers and stakeholders will be essential. Your responsibilities will include managing infrastructure projects such as corporate fit-outs, office relocations, and desktop technology deployments. It will be crucial to ensure that all projects are delivered with high quality, on scope, on time, and within budget. You will be responsible for governance and control over project financials, risk management, project goals, and milestones. Your role will involve identifying and securing resources, resolving project risks and issues, managing the project team, and ensuring project management standards are applied rigorously. In addition to overseeing project execution, you will be required to develop communications for executive sponsors and stakeholders, provide regular briefings and status updates, and act as the single point of contact for project-level risks, issues, and escalations. Collaboration with key stakeholders to identify project interdependencies, support in distributing project information, and create a collaborative environment that fosters trust will be critical. You will need to comply with company standards and procedures, manage budgets and financial aspects, and evaluate the impact on Total Cost of Ownership for complex projects. To qualify for this role, you should have substantial IT Project Management experience, preferably in the financial services industry, along with 7+ years of experience in managing projects across multiple technologies and functions. A formal project management discipline, knowledge of industry-standard project management tools, and expertise in an industry recognized Project Management methodology are required. Strong leadership, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills are essential, along with technical skills in Real Estate/Network projects, risk/issue/change management, budget & financial management, and adherence to Standard Project Lifecycle requirements. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is required, along with certifications such as PMP/PRINCE or other formal project management discipline. Familiarity with Agile delivery practices would be beneficial. Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to lead project teams effectively, and experience with project task estimation, resource scheduling, risk management, and issue management are also key qualifications for this role.
