Why This Role Exists
This isn’t a “sit in the corner” internship. As a
Marketing Research Intern
, you’ll build the lead pipeline. Work, sort and filter the data. And prepare content that directly drives our sales and marketing campaigns. Your research will turn into real pipeline and revenue opportunities.
What You’ll Do (Your Day-to-Day)
- Build and maintain a clean, accurate database of potential customers.
- Research utilities (size, location, contacts, systems) and summarize findings.
- Review public RFP documents and highlight key information for the team.
- Support automation campaigns for 300+ accounts (draft and send initial outreach emails).
- Update team trackers (Excel/Google Sheets/CRM) so nothing slips through the cracks.
- Use AI tools to speed up research, summaries, and content prep.
What You’ll Learn (The Growth Path)
- 30 days: Create 500 utility profiles and summarize 20+ RFPs.
- 90 days: Own an automation campaign for 300 accounts, draft and send 4 initial outreach emails, then hand off to nurturing.
- 180 days: Prepare 10+ Automation workflows and sequence packs independently → 1000+ profiles, RFP summaries, and contacts, that directly support live opportunities.
By the end: You’ll know how to research markets, run automation campaigns, and use AI-first workflows that most interns never get exposure to.
Who We’re Looking For
- Students or fresh grads (any stream) who are curious, reliable, and detail-oriented.
- Basic skills in Excel/Google Sheets (sorting, filtering, organizing).
- Good written English to prepare short, clear notes and summaries.
- Comfortable with online research (Google, LinkedIn, public websites).
- Team player with a never-give-up mindset who delivers on time.
(Bonus: Interest in SaaS, utilities, or public sector projects — but not required.)
