That's why we need a

Senior QA Consultant

— someone who doesn't just find bugs, but owns quality. Someone who builds systems, not just test cases. Someone who understands that in a fast-scaling SaaS company serving critical infrastructure, quality isn't just nice-to-have — it's everything.

About The Challenge

We're not looking for a traditional QA person who waits for requirements and follows scripts. We need someone who thinks like an owner, acts like a founder, and builds like their reputation depends on it. Because it does.
You'll be architecting our quality from the ground up — automating what can be automated, catching what others miss, and building the frameworks that let us scale without breaking. This is hands-on, high-impact work where your decisions directly affect thousands of utility workers and millions of end customers.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

This isn't a checkbox-ticking role. As a

part-time consultant based in Pune

, you'll be:

Leading by doing — 70% hands-on delivery, 30% team leadership and mentoring
Building automation that matters — not just scripts, but intelligent testing frameworks that scale with our growth
Embedding quality everywhere — working directly with product and engineering to catch issues before they become problems
Owning the CI/CD quality gates — your automation decides what ships and what doesn't
Pioneering AI-driven testing — using smart approaches to test smarter, not harder
Being the voice of quality — in product discussions, sprint planning, and architectural decisions
Hunting the critical bugs — the ones that could break utilities, lose customers, or damage trust

What We're Looking For

3-5 years of battle-tested QA experience — preferably in SaaS where downtime costs real money
Automation expertise — Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or whatever gets the job done
API testing mastery — REST, GraphQL, you know how modern systems actually work
Scripting skills — Python, JavaScript, or whatever language solves the problem
Database comfort — SQL for data validation and testing complex scenarios
CI/CD understanding — GitHub Actions, Jenkins, you know how modern deployment works
Owner mentality — you don't wait for perfect requirements, you ask the right questions
Growth mindset — excited about AI/ML testing approaches and learning fast
Pune-based — this role requires local collaboration and hands-on presence
