Marketing Executive – Boys’ Casual Shirt ManufacturingPosition Overview

The Marketing Executive will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing marketing activities to support the growth of the boys’ casual shirt segment. This role covers product marketing, customer engagement, sales coordination, brand promotion, and market research. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of the garment/apparel industry, especially in the kidswear/boys’ wear segment, and will work closely with merchandising, design, and production teams to drive business results.

Key Responsibilities1. Market Research & Trend Analysis

  • Conduct market research to understand trends in boys’ casual shirts, including prints, fabrics, silhouettes, and seasonal preferences.
  • Analyze competitor products, pricing, promotions, and market positioning.
  • Gather feedback from retailers, distributors, and customers to influence product development.
  • Track market demand and upcoming fashion trends (print styles, colors, fits, etc.).

2. Product Marketing & Development Support

  • Coordinate with the design and merchandising teams to develop market-ready designs and collections.
  • Provide input on design themes, colors, and graphic trends based on buyer and market insights
  • Website development
  • Assist in creating product catalogs, lookbooks, and seasonal line sheets.

3. Sales Coordination & Business Development

  • Support the sales team with product knowledge, sales materials, and promotional content.
  • Visit markets, showrooms, and retailers to present new collections and gather orders.
  • Maintain strong relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers.
  • Identify new business opportunities in domestic and export markets.
  • Follow up on leads, inquiries, and customer requirements to convert them into orders.

4. Branding & Marketing Communications

  • Assist in building the brand identity for boys’ casual shirts.
  • Create marketing assets such as product photos, social media posts, and promotional content.
  • Manage social media platforms and online branding initiatives.
  • Plan and execute marketing campaigns, seasonal promotions, and product launches.

5. Customer Relationship Management

  • Serve as a key contact for customers, addressing inquiries and providing prompt support.
  • Gather customer feedback and relay it to the design and production teams.
  • Maintain updated records of customer interactions, order requirements, and market behavior.

6. Merchandising & Sampling Support

  • Coordinate with the sampling team for timely sample development.
  • Prepare costing sheets, product descriptions, and buyer presentations.
  • Ensure all marketing material reflects accurate product details and pricing.

7. Events, Exhibitions & Trade Shows

  • Assist in planning and executing exhibitions, trade fairs, and showroom displays.
  • Manage booth setup, presentation, and brand representation.
  • Interact with potential buyers during exhibitions and generate leads.

8. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain MIS reports on market visits, customer feedback, and sales performance.
  • Track marketing expenses, campaign results, and promotional ROI.
  • Prepare competitor analysis reports and pricing comparisons.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Fashion Marketing, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in marketing within the garment or apparel industry (kidswear preferred).
  • Strong understanding of boys’ wear trends, garments fabrics, and shirt manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, social media tools, and basic graphic design tools (optional).
  • Ability to travel frequently for market visits, buyer meetings, and trade shows.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in boys’ casual wear or kidswear marketing.
  • Knowledge of garment costing, merchandising cycles, and production timelines.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing, e-commerce, and brand-building activities.
  • Experience handling distributor networks or retail marketing.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,500.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
