1. Job Summary
Marketing Manager
The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of healthcare marketing, understand the unique demographics and healthcare-seeking behaviour of the local population, and be passionate about creating impactful campaigns that communicate our commitment to clinical excellence and compassionate care.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Strategic Marketing Planning & Brand Building:
- Develop and execute the annual marketing plan and budget aligned with the hospital's strategic goals.
- Establish and maintain the hospital's brand identity, positioning, and key messaging across all touchpoints.
- Conduct market research to understand patient needs, competitor landscape, and market opportunities.
- Build and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation and ROI.
B. Digital Marketing & Online Presence:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive digital marketing strategy including SEO/SEM, social media, and email marketing.
- Manage the hospital website, ensuring it is informative, user-friendly, and optimised for conversions.
- Oversee online reputation management and patient review platforms.
- Utilise digital analytics to track performance and optimise campaigns.
C. Traditional Marketing & Community Outreach:
- Plan and execute offline marketing activities, including print advertising, radio, hoardings, and community events.
- Develop strong relationships with local physicians, clinics, and community leaders to build a robust referral network.
- Organise health camps, seminars, and wellness workshops to enhance community engagement and brand visibility.
- Manage the creation of all marketing collaterals, both print and digital.

D. Corporate Partnerships & Business Development:
- Identify and develop partnerships with corporate entities, government agencies, and insurance providers.
- Create tailored packages for corporate health check-ups and institutional tie-ups.
- Work closely with the clinical teams to promote specialised services and new medical technologies.
E. Internal Marketing & Patient Experience:
- Develop internal marketing initiatives to ensure staff are aligned with the hospital's brand values.
- Collaborate with the quality team to enhance patient experience, which serves as a key marketing tool.
- Create patient communication materials and ensure consistent messaging at all patient touchpoints.
3. Qualifications and Experience
Educational Qualification:
Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.Experience:
10 - 15 years
of progressive experience in marketing, with a minimum of 5 years in a healthcare/hospital marketing leadership role.
Non-Negotiable Experience:
- Proven track record of successfully launching and building a healthcare brand in a new market.
- Extensive experience in both digital and traditional healthcare marketing strategies.
- Demonstrable experience in building and managing physician referral networks.
- Strong understanding of the healthcare landscape in Northeast India (preferred).
