Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Social Media Strategist with 4+ years of proven success, specifically within the dynamic and fast-paced Food & Beverage industry. This is a senior-level, strategic role for someone who lives and breathes social media, understands F&B trends before they peak, and knows how to turn "views" into "visits" and "followers" into "loyal customers."

You will be the architect of not just our digital voice, responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive overall media strategy that aligns with our business goals, elevates our brand, and drives measurable results (e.g., engagement, community growth, and revenue).

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development:

    Develop, implement, and manage a multi-platform social media strategy (Instagram, WhatsApp, Facebook, YouTube, etc.) that is deeply rooted in our brand identity and F&B industry best practices.
  • Content & Calendar Planning:

    Oversee the master content calendar. Plan and conceptualize compelling, platform-native content (video, photo, UGC) that is appetizing, engaging, and shareable. You will guide the creative team (designers, video editors) on what to create, not just post what is created.
  • Analytics & Reporting:

    Define key performance indicators (KPIs). Continuously monitor, analyze, and report on social media performance using tools like Sprout Social, Hootsuite, or native platform analytics. Use data-driven insights to optimize strategy and demonstrate ROI.
  • Community Management Leadership:

    Oversee the brand’s community management, setting the tone for all public-facing interactions. Develop strategies to foster and grow a positive, engaged community, and manage customer service escalations.
  • Trend & Competitor Analysis:

    Act as the team's "eyes and ears." Proactively identify and assess emerging F&B trends, platform features, and competitor activities. Provide actionable recommendations on how our brand can respond.
  • Paid Social Strategy:

    Design and manage paid social advertising campaigns, from budget allocation and audience targeting to ad creative and A/B testing, with a focus on driving traffic, leads, or online orders.
  • Influencer & Partnerships:

    Develop and execute an influencer marketing strategy. Identify, vet, and manage relationships with F&B influencers, content creators, and brand partners.
  • Brand Voice:

    Be the primary guardian of the brand’s voice and tone across all social channels, ensuring consistency, authenticity, and alignment with our culinary identity.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience:

    A minimum of 4 years of experience in a social media strategy role.
  • Industry Focus:

    Proven, hands-on experience in the

    Food & Beverage (F&B) industry

    (e.g., for a restaurant group, CPG brand, or an agency with F&B clients) is

    essential

  • Portfolio:

    A strong portfolio or case studies demonstrating successful social media campaigns, community growth, and a direct impact on F&B business goals.
  • Platform Mastery:

    Expert-level knowledge of all major social media platforms, their algorithms, and best practices (especially Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook).
  • Analytical Skills:

    Strong ability to read data, identify insights, and translate them into actionable strategy. Proficiency with social media analytics and listening tools.
  • Strategic Mindset:

    You must be a "big picture" thinker who can connect social media activity directly to business objectives.
  • Communication:

    Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You can write compelling copy and present complex strategies clearly.
  • Project Management:

    Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, a content calendar, and stakeholders simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience managing and mentoring junior team members.
  • Hands-on experience with content creation (photography, videography).
  • Experience with PR and media relations.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and email marketing platforms.
