Databases will be focused on: Light Vehicle model level sales data Light Vehicle body & door level detail (one step below model level) Light Vehicle powertrain (Hybrid & Electric Vehicle) sales data (one step below model level) Medium and Heavy Commercial Vehicle sales data (brand, weight class, type (bus/truck), artic/rigid).Develop and test hypotheses that challenge existing estimates within a market to provide unique insight. Evaluate the data required to support those hypotheses. Coordinate with other teams to procure input data for analysis. Use all the tools and knowledge at your disposal to produce analysis that goes beyond the descriptive to offer valuable customer insight for our clients. Routine update of the data with logic and sanity check. Team Management: Manage team of Research Analysts in the production of content (database). Train these analysts in market analysis, forecasting, and analysis and monitor their performance such that they produce good quality products across our product offering. Vendor Management: Vendor management including liaising with data providers and managing vendor contracts. Work with 40+ suppliers globally on a routine basis. Also, identify further data sources as potential for future needs. Develop industry expertise: Develop expertise within the area of Automotive sector. Build deep insight into the market trends and competitive landscape related to your product. Maintain and provide timely responses to market issues and offer up to date data/analysis. Provide effective stakeholder support: Build stakeholder relationships and understand objectives and needs. Support internal stakeholders with timely and high-value analyst support.
