Summary: This role is part of Accenture Researchs global Financial Services team with a dual focus on
the Banking and Capital Markets industries. The Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving high-quality research delivery, enabling credible interactions with client stakeholders, and supporting business development and thought leadership efforts. The role requires strong independence, quality output, and the ability to manage multiple senior stakeholders demands across geographies, especially

The Banking and Capital Markets Research Specialist will support research leads and Accentures FS industry leaders on Thought Leadership reports, industry points of view (PoVs), and client research projects.We are looking for a strong researcher with a passion for the banking and capital markets industry, and a keen interest in the key trends shaping the sectors such as evolving customer expectations, digital channels, regulatory shifts, risk and compliance, talent transformation, sustainability, and the strategic use of data and technology.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Support the development of insights through structured market and trend analysisUse traditional and innovative research techniques to address key business questionsAnalyze large datasets and visualize findings using tools like Power BIContribute to proprietary model updates and generate relevant outputsCreate compelling research storylines and summaries for senior stakeholdersPresent findings in a clear, concise, and insightful manner

Strong foundation in
financial modeling and analysis, including scenario planning and forecastingSkilled in
secondary research, company profiling, market sizing, and financial benchmarkingExperience applying
strategic frameworks and evaluating M&A, market, and regulatory trendsComfortable using
Generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Copilot) to enhance research and content creationProficient in
Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; visualization experience with
Power BI or similarStrong written communication with the ability to build a clear and persuasive narrative

Additional Information:

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in economics, business, finance, or related fields.A full-time masters in business administration, finance, economics, or other relevant areas is preferred.Relevant professional qualifications such as CFA, CIMA are an advantage.Prior experience in or for the banking or capital markets industry is a strong advantage.Experience presenting research virtually to senior-level audiences is desirable.Familiarity with the UK Banking and Capital Markets ecosystem is a strong plus.
Work Experience:
~5 to 8 years of experience in consulting, research, or the BCM industry
Location:Gurugram (preferred) / Bangalore, India
