Qualifications
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for daily production of specific Scarborough key services with on time and accurate delivery to downstream processes. Ensures surveys and processes are set up for each release. Maintains oversight of job status for various data delivery points.
- Creates and executes macros in Microsoft Excel to check a wide range of survey data for accuracy and quality.
- Communicates with outside vendors, ensuring a seamless line of communication. Takes responsibility for notifying vendors of data changes and explaining root causes as well as impacts.
- Monitors job status for various data delivery points, proactively identifies potential delays and ensures timely communication of delivery risks to all downstream teams. Manages multiple projects/services simultaneously and adapts to reprioritization as necessary.
- Executes quality control measures to ensure processes and tasks are running error free. Checks and trends data for accuracy. Researches and analyzes data discrepancies and collaborates with other team members, managers, or App Dev teams as needed to ensure timely and accurate delivery to all downstream processes.
- Participates with the Software Testing team to conduct system tests as needed, keeping records of all tests performed including dates, description of test(s), and sample data sets utilized in testing.
- Creates internal documentation for new processes, reviews and updates existing documentations/check lists for processes performed in their area for accuracy. Participates in cross training sessions for team members to support procedural accuracy and strengthen team resilience through effective knowledge sharing, and build sufficient coverage during absences and peak periods.
- Monitors the performance of proprietary Scarborough data-processing applications and suggests improvements to increase functionality and ease-of-use.
- Collaborates with and supports other team members by assisting with workload and responsibilities as needed to help the team meet goals.
Requirements/Skills
Additional Information
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Commerce, Computer Science or a related field.
- QA Testing experience preferred
- 2+ years of Media Research experience
- Familiarity with US geography, retail industry and media landscape
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong English language oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Effective at collaborating on multiple projects
- Effective time and task management abilities
- Capacity for logical analysis
- Knowledge of Market Research and Marketing a plus
