Role Overview: As a Market Analytics QC at DemandMatrix, your primary responsibility will be to generate and validate technographics data, product keywords, and track upcoming technologies. You will play a crucial role in understanding various technologies, performing competitive analysis, and differentiating similar technology products based on nuanced features. Your tasks will involve supporting marketing and sales teams of technology product vendors by designing research methods, collecting and analyzing data, and providing actionable insights and recommendations. Key Responsibilities: - Understand business objectives for marketing and sales teams and devise research methods to discover data sources, validate technographics data, and generate reports. - Collect data on technology products, vendors, consumers, competitors, and marketplace, and consolidate the information into actionable items, reports, and presentations. - Compile and analyze data using modern and traditional methods, and use online market research tools to catalog findings to databases. - Evaluate program methodology and key data to ensure accuracy and correctness of data releases. - Stay updated on market trends, research conducted by other parties, and implement best practices. Qualifications: - Proven experience in market research analysis for technology products and vendors. - Ability to interpret large amounts of data, multitask effectively, and possess strong communication and presentation skills. - Excellent knowledge of SQL, MS Excel, and basic Python scripting, along with familiarity with search engines, web analytics, and business research tools. - Experience with CRM programs, data collection methods, data warehousing, modeling, and mining. - Strong analytical and critical thinking skills. - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, MBA with a technical background related to data is preferred.
