We are expanding our strategic and research capabilities, and we are looking for a highly analytical Market Research Analyst who can help identify market opportunities, competitor insights, and ideal customer profiles (ICPs) across international markets.

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive

    B2B market research

    across global industries relevant to Fission Infotechs service offerings.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, growth opportunities, and competitive landscapes.
  • Develop and refine

    Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)

    based on market data, company goals, client behavior, and revenue patterns.
  • Work closely with marketing and sales teams to identify high-potential target segments and decision-makers.
  • Create, maintain, and analyze

    Excel-based research sheets

    , dashboards, and databases.
  • Build and publish

    Power BI dashboards

    to visualize research insights, performance trends, and actionable recommendations.
  • Conduct competitor benchmarking services, pricing, positioning, marketing activities, and ICP strategies.
  • Evaluate customer feedback, industry reports, and data sets to identify patterns and insights.
  • Prepare structured research reports, presentations, and summaries for leadership.
  • Support campaign planning, GTM strategies, and product/service positioning with data-backed insights.
  • Identify new market opportunities, potential industry verticals, and untapped customer segments.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 24 years of experience as a

    Market Research Analyst

    , Business Analyst, or similar research-driven role.
  • Strong understanding of

    B2B business models

    , especially in IT services, SaaS, or consulting domains.
  • Proven expertise in

    Excel

    (Advanced formulas, pivot tables, data cleaning, modelling).
  • Hands-on experience with

    Power BI

    for dashboarding, data visualization, and reporting.
  • Ability to identify and build

    Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs)

    using quantitative and qualitative research.
  • Familiarity with tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Crunchbase, SimilarWeb, or other research platforms (preferred).
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills ability to convert complex data into simple insights.
  • Experience in preparing market intelligence reports and executive-level presentations.
  • High attention to detail, accuracy, and data quality.

Good to Have

  • Experience working in IT services, B2B SaaS, or technology consulting.
  • Knowledge of Power Query, SQL, or Google Analytics (bonus).
  • Understanding of GTM strategies, segmentation models, and buyer personas.
  • Exposure to international B2B markets (US, UK, Middle East, APAC).
