The opportunity
Manufacturing Quality Assurance work includes: Defining and specifying activities, processes, and standards to fulfill the quality requirements for a manufactured material, component, or product. Building and maintaining the infrastructure and systems necessary to consistently ensure the timely delivery of quality products. Auditing, monitoring, and determining the quality of manufacturing processes and/or outputs against defined internal and regulatory standards. Reporting and troubleshooting manufacturing process deviations and defects in finished goods An Experienced Professional (P2) applies practical knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. May require the following proficiency: Works independently with general supervision. Problems faced are difficult but typically not complex. May influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies and practices.
How You’ll Make An Impact
- Ensuring Quality requirements are met for the incoming materials (Raw materials, Bought out). Use of SAP-REIWA for Quality management.
- Handling Non-Conformities / Quality Notifications. Document and manage non-conformances, ensuring corrective actions. Implement and monitor corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Reduction in Test Failures & COPQ, improving the overall Q&O performance and customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with Supplier, SQA for quality improvement and resolution of NCRs. Lead/support RCA process, with deeper analysis of the issue in case of NCRs or quality issues.
- Work with experts to roll out latest developments in the process. Also, feedback to experts the suggestions from factory for improvement in the process.
- Understanding and adherence to ISO 9001 2015, ASME
- Outgoing Inspection, Handling of Customer complaints, related improvement actions implementation.
- Record and report quality control performance metrics, analyze data for improvements and escalate issues as needed.
- Facilitate, teach, coach the teams from preparation, execution and sustainment to bring superior changes and improvement to routine operations.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Candidate should hold a degree in BE (Mechanical) with relevant 4 to 8 years of experience.
- Exposure to incoming/in process inspections. Performed Internal Audit, Experienced in leading external audits.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance, such as ISO 9001 and other relevant standards.
- Knowledge of CAPA, 7QC Tools, 8D, lean tools.
- Exposure to SAP systems.
- Exposure to supplier Quality.
- L6S Green Belt or above is preferred.
- Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
