Manufacturing Operations Manager

Job Title: Operations Manager – Manufacturing Unit Location: Siracol, Rajarhat, Diamond Harbour Road Industry: Apparel / FashionTech Manufacturing Experience Required: 5+ Years in Manufacturing Operations Job Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing unit. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure smooth, efficient, and cost-effective production processes. This role requires a hands-on professional with a solid background in manufacturing, production planning, team management, and quality control. Key Responsibilities: • Manage daily operations of the manufacturing unit including production planning, scheduling, and workforce management. • Ensure product quality and timely delivery in line with customer specifications and internal standards. • Coordinate between departments including procurement, inventory, quality assurance, and dispatch. • Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maximize productivity and reduce waste. • Monitor KPIs and operational metrics, and initiate process improvements where necessary. • Lead, train, and motivate factory staff to meet performance goals. • Ensure compliance with safety, labor laws, and environmental regulations. • Collaborate with senior management on strategic planning and resource allocation. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree or a related field (MBA is a plus). • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations management within a manufacturing setup. • Strong understanding of production workflows, lean manufacturing, and quality systems. • Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills. • Proficient in MS Office and production management software (e.g., ERP systems) Job Location: Siracol, Rajarhat, Diamond Harbour Road
