Responsibilities:

  • To uphold the importance of Safety and Compliance as key strategic business priorities and seek to increase corporate value through ensuring sustainability of productivity through the effective and efficient management of Company operations.
  • To work closely with Vice-Chairman of the company in setting business direction, and driving business operational strategy, including talent strategy.
  • To work out annual operating plans as aligned with short-term, mid-term and long-term strategic objectives, and translate operational strategies into actionable goals for business performance and growth and set business performance goals for implementation.
  • To oversee the company business operations and employee’s productivity, thus building a highly inclusive workplace culture for employees to thrive and organizational business outcomes to achieve.
  • To ensure successful delivery of projects by meeting all projects and clients’ requirements.
  • To ensure technical competencies and expertise at all levels are adequate and constantly upskill the employees to achieve revenue and profit targets, and business goals.
  • To cultivate good relationship and maintain engagement with all vendors, suppliers and partners to ensure timeliness and quality of project delivery.
  • To lead human resources and productivity initiatives to motivate, retain employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication.
  • To monitor organizational performance with productivity measures and establish corrective and preventive actions where necessary.
  • To adhere to the company’s, India and its local state business and regulatory requirements, enforcing legal and compliance and taking actions where necessary.
  • To take on P&L responsibility and maintain strong hold and handle of cash flows of projects.
  • To oversee and ensure smooth running of daily operations of the Company and the work of its management team members and key managers.
  • Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (IT, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Legal & Compliance, Safety and Engineering etc.).


Requirements:

  • BSc degree in chemical engineering, with at least 15 years of experience, with minimum 5 years of experience working in a Senior management role within the engineering, manufacturing or related industry in India.
  • Must have track records in leading teams and projects, concurrently managing client’s expectations and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in operational excellence, with working knowledge in lean management.
  • Strong understanding of advance business planning and local regulatory knowledge and issues resolution.
  • Possess strong leadership and management skills with high level of accountability and personal integrity.
  • Possess strong relationship building skills.
  • Ability to travel extensively and perform site visits across the region in India and SEA.
