Job Description

As the Managing Director (MD) at one of the largest Beauty companies in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) sector, you will play a crucial role in leading the digital transformation efforts and shaping the strategic direction of our online presence. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and executing a comprehensive digital strategy, enhancing e-commerce capabilities, and overseeing digital marketing initiatives to optimize customer engagement and drive brand growth. Your key tasks will involve defining and implementing a digital strategy that aligns with the company's overall business objectives, identifying growth opportunities through digital channels, and staying abreast of new technologies in the digital landscape. You will also be responsible for enhancing e-commerce platforms to ensure seamless user experiences, easy navigation, and a secure purchasing process. In addition, you will champion customer-centric initiatives by leveraging digital tools to enhance customer journeys, including personalization, loyalty programs, and responsive customer support. Your role will also entail overseeing all digital marketing efforts, such as SEO, SEM, social media, email campaigns, influencer partnerships, and content creation. Leveraging data analytics and market research will be crucial in gaining insights into consumer behavior, industry trends, and competitor strategies. Furthermore, you will be expected to identify opportunities to incorporate innovations like AI, AR, and VR to enhance the customer experience. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including IT, marketing, sales, and product development, will be essential to ensure alignment of digital initiatives with overall business goals. As a successful candidate, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Digital Technology, or a related field, with a Master's degree being preferred. You should have a proven track record of driving digital transformation and e-commerce growth in the beauty, cosmetics, or related consumer goods industry. Strong expertise in digital marketing, SEO, SEM, social media, content strategies, and data analytics is required, along with experience in e-commerce platforms, CMS, and CRM systems. Your strategic thinking abilities, coupled with exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, will be critical in this role.
