Role & responsibilities

The selected candidate will lead core HR functions at the plant, focusing on Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Factory HR operations, Talent Management, and Employee Engagement. This is a key leadership role requiring strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a dynamic plant environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant HR Operations

  • Manage and oversee all HR activities specific to the plant environment.
  • Ensure statutory & labour law compliance in line with factory operations.
  • Handle attendance, payroll inputs, shift workforce management, and daily HR processes.
  • Support grievance handling and maintain harmonious employee relations.

2. Talent Acquisition (TA)

  • Lead hiring for staff, officers, and plant-level roles.
  • Coordinate with HODs for manpower planning and fulfilling recruitment needs.
  • Execute onboarding, induction, and role transition processes effectively.

3. Learning & Development (L&D)

  • Conduct training needs analysis and prepare annual training calendars.
  • Organize technical, behavioural, and compliance-driven training programs.
  • Track and evaluate training effectiveness and maintain training MIS.

4. Talent Management

  • Support performance appraisal processes and capability-building initiatives.
  • Assist in career development, succession planning, and retention strategies.
  • Maintain talent-related data and dashboards.

5. Employee Engagement

  • Plan and execute employee engagement events, welfare activities, and cultural programs.
  • Conduct employee surveys and implement action plans for engagement improvement.
  • Foster an inclusive and positive workplace environment for the workforce.

6. Factory HR & Compliance

  • Work closely with the factory leadership team to ensure HR support for operations.
  • Ensure discipline, workplace safety processes, and adherence to factory standards.
  • Prepare HR reports, compliance documentation, and audit support
