Role Summary
The Lead – Land MIS will be responsible for managing and streamlining the
data management, reporting, and analytics
function of the Land Acquisition team. This role demands strong knowledge of
land acquisition processes and documentation
, combined with advanced skills in
Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization
. The incumbent will play a critical role in preparing dashboards, MIS reports, and decision-making insights for senior leadership, while also leading communications with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Requirements
- MIS & Reporting
- Develop, maintain, and present dashboards, trackers, and MIS reports for land acquisition projects.
- Consolidate data from multiple stakeholders and present actionable insights for management review.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting to management and leadership teams.
- Land Documentation & Compliance
- Be well-versed with land acquisition terms and documentation: Mutation, Lease, Deeds, TSR, Sale Deed, Due Diligence, Diversions, etc.
- Track compliance requirements and maintain repository of land-related documentation.
- Support due diligence, legal checks, and land status reporting.
- Stakeholder Management & Communication
- Lead communication with project, site, legal, and external stakeholders on land-related MIS requirements.
- Represent the Land MIS function in corporate and high-level stakeholder meetings.
- Provide data-backed insights and recommendations during discussions.
- Analysis & Decision Support
- Leverage project and land experience to identify risks, gaps, and opportunities.
- Prepare decision-making points and present them with clarity to leadership.
- Support leadership in scenario planning and project strategy with data-based inputs.
- Tools & Data Visualization
- Use advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, analytics) to manage large datasets.
- Build impactful PowerPoint presentations to communicate insights and updates effectively.
- Explore and implement tools for improved reporting, visualization, and efficiency.
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Land Management, Business Administration, or relevant field (Engineering/Law background desirable).
- Experience: 7–12 years in Land Acquisition/Land MIS roles, preferably in Infrastructure, Power, or Renewable Energy sector.
- Strong knowledge of land acquisition processes, terms, and documentation.
- Proven expertise in Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills.
- Maturity to handle leadership-level interactions and critical discussions independently.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
