Responsibilities: Keep management updated: Provide timely and accurate architectural documentation and reports on data systems and pipelines. Impact the bottom line: Develop scalable, secure, and optimized data solutions using MS SQL and CloudEra that support analytics, reporting, and operational systems. Define Sutherland’s data foundation: Design robust data models, define data integration patterns, and ensure the consistency and quality of data across systems. Strengthen relationships: Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet business goals. Take the lead: Own end-to-end architecture design and execution of data platforms, lead data modernization and migration efforts, and ensure compliance with data governance and security policies. Qualifications To succeed in this position, you must: Qualification: B.E / B.Tech / M.C.A Possess 10+ years of experience in data architecture, with a strong focus on MS SQL Server and Cloudera (Hadoop ecosystem). Have deep understanding of data warehousing, ETL processes, and data modeling (dimensional & normalized). Be proficient in SQL performance tuning, index optimization, and query analysis. Have experience in designing and implementing big data platforms using Cloudera technologies such as Hive, Impala, HDFS, Spark, etc. Understand cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data migration strategies (preferred). Be attentive to details and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively share complex ideas with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Demonstrate a proactive approach in troubleshooting and continuous improvement of data infrastructure.
