Position Summary

Overall responsible for all aspects of the Security of the plant, employees, and the property

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• He Will have dotted line reporting to Head of Security on all security related aspects & will keep him in loop in all e-mail correspondence related to Security functions and operations.
• Communicate with Head of security regarding security operations, events, incidents, concerns of Security Team members, recommendations, staffing needs, etc. on daily / as required basis.
• Compliance with management requirements/ directives and statutory compliances.
• Conduct of Security risk assessments of site and advise site management on mitigation measures / strategy.
• Prepare & Implement Site Security Plan, Emergency Response Plan, and local SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) based on the company Security Manual.
• Periodic review of Site Security Plan, local SOPs and associated procedures
• Ensure regular conduct of Security Training. Maintain training tracker and training attendance record.
• Act as interface between external Security Organizations and site management on security issues.
• Hold planned Security Audits and facilitate external audits.
• Develop and maintain working relationship with local Police, Fire department and other Government authorities as required.
• Ensuring accountability of the inward and outgoing material/item entry as per SAP/V-connect.
• Maintain effective intelligence and vigilance network and forewarn plant management about likely business continuity issues.
• Organize effective checking at the main gate for material, personnel, and vehicles. Organize visitor management.
• Conduct investigations of security related incidents in coordination with Head of Security.
• Ensure complete documentation and Police verification of vendor security personnel and periodically audit all contractors for ongoing compliance.
• Conduct Mock Drills at least quarterly on Fire Fighting, Evacuation, medical emergency, Bomb Threats/Search Handling, Riots, flooding etc.
