MajorActivities (Responsibilities)

We are seeking a highly motivated anddetail-oriented Commercial Manager to join our team. The Commercial Managerwill play a key role in evaluating and approving business cases, ensuringprofitability, and working closely with cross-functional teams to supportstrategic business objectives. This role is crucial for driving revenue growth,optimizing costs, and ensuring alignment across departments such as Sales,Finance, Operations, and Product.

Key Responsibilities

1. CommercialStrategy Development:

Develop and implementa comprehensive commercial strategy to drive growth and profitability acrossthe telecom product suite.

Identify marketopportunities and competitive positioning for telecom products, ensuringalignment with overall business goals.

2. ProductManagement

Oversee the lifecycleof telecom products, including product development, pricing, launch, andpost-launch performance.

Collaborate withcross-functional teams like marketing, sales, solutions, product, businessdevelopment Manager, Login desk to define product requirements and prioritizefeatures based on market demand.

Regularly assessproduct performance and implement improvements to maximize market share andprofitability.

3. Pricing andRevenue Optimization:

Establish and managecompetitive pricing models that balance customer acquisition with revenuegrowth.

Analyze revenuetrends and profitability, adjusting pricing or go-to-market strategies asneeded.

Work closely withfinance to forecast revenue and identify commercial risks and opportunities.

4. Go-to-Market (GTM)Strategy:

Develop and executeeffective GTM strategies, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning oftelecom products.

Lead cross-functionalGTM initiatives to ensure product communications, promotional activities, andcustomer acquisitions.

5.Customer and Market Insights:

Conduct marketresearch to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, andcustomer preferences.

Gather feedback fromsales teams and customers to improve the product roadmap and identifyopportunities for new offerings.

6. Stakeholder Management:

Work closely withinternal and external stakeholders, including executive leadership, partners,and vendors, to support the products growth and align objectives.

Present commercialinsights, product updates, and key performance metrics to senior managementregularly.

7. PerformanceTracking and Reporting:

Define and monitorkey performance indicators (KPIs) to assess product performance, includingrevenue, market share, and customer satisfaction.

Provide regularreports and analysis on the commercial performance of telecom products,recommending actionable insights.

Lead and manage the end-to-end RFP process for telecom products, including preparing andresponding to RFPs, coordinating with relevant bid management teams, andensuring timely submission.

Develop competitiveproposals and ensure alignment with commercial and technical requirements.

Work closely withlegal, finance, and solutioning teams to assess risks, costs, and deliverablesrelated to RFPs, ensuring proposals are accurate, competitive, and meetcustomer needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Finance, BusinessAdministration, or a related field Masters preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in a commercialor financial role, with a focus on business case evaluation andcross-functional collaboration.
  • Strong financial modeling andanalytical skills, with a proven ability to interpret data and make strategicrecommendations.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced,cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiationskills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of theorganization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite,especially Excel; experience with financial software is a plus.
