Manager Risk Management

Summary:

The Manager of Risk Management will develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies across our organization. This role will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Primary Job Functions:

1. Proficient in Risk assessment and analysis methodologies
2. Risk management software and tools proficiency
3. Knowledge of regulatory (GDPR,PCI-DSS, Anti-Money Laundering (AML)) requirements and compliance standards.
4. Understanding of insurance principles and coverage.
5. Industry-specific certifications (CRISC, CISM, ISO 27001:LA)
6. Project management expertise.
7. A thorough understanding of:

• ISO 27001 (Information Security Management)
• NIST Cybersecurity Framework
• SOC 1 and SOC 2 Standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• 10+ years of experience in risk management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Professional certification in risk management (ARM, CRM, or similar) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise risk management frameworks and best practices.
• Experience with risk assessment tools and methodologies.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong project management and organizational abilities.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven leadership and team management experience.
• Proficiency in risk management software and tools
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) platforms
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards
