Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Manager - Quality located in Hosur. The Manager - Quality will be responsible for overseeing and managing quality control processes to ensure product excellence. Day-to-day tasks include identifying areas for improvement, implementing quality assurance protocols, conducting audits, training staff on quality standards, and analyzing data to identify trends. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain quality management systems.

Developing & Implementing Quality Control systems

specification, Incoming inspection, In Process inspection, Final Quality inspection etc.

Develop process control plans specific to CTQ’s in the production process.

Certifications

based on customer/management demand.

Performance monitoring

suggest and guide for improvements. Review products, processes and systems to determine

where improvements can be made.

Audits & Compliance

adherence to audit points without Non Conformance. Conduct regular internal audits to

ensure the systems are in place.

Training

develop the skill sets of employees.

Documentation

Audits.

Testing of Products

on customer/process requirements.

Communicating with Stakeholder

collaborating with other teams and gathering feedback from customers. Actively participate

in production meetings with the manufacturing team.

Customer/Vendor visit

standardize the specifications for final products/raw materials. Conduct audits for supplier

assessment and taking action to improve the score.

10. Device and implement quality plans and procedures to ensure optimum quality standards.

Requirements :

1.Bachelor’s degree with 11-15 years’ experience in manufacturing quality. Preferably from

furniture industry.

2. Knowledge of Quality standards and regulations.

3. Experience in handling OEM customers like IKEA, Walmart, Disney etc and understanding

about the standards.

4. Proficiency in Quality management tools and software.
