As a Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for both basic and detailed engineering tasks associated with solar PV projects. Your duties will include designing kW and MW SPV power plants in compliance with Indian/IEC Standards, developing design tools for power evacuation systems, standardizing engineering processes, and designing auxiliary distribution systems for SPV projects. Additionally, you will be involved in the design of String Monitoring Boxes, SCADA system architecture, and IO List creation for SPV projects. Your role will also require site support, coordination with vendors, and collaboration with other departments such as Purchase and Quality. You will play a key role in selecting vendors and contractors for SPV projects, preparing detailed Bill of Materials, system descriptions, single line diagrams, and drawings for the supply, installation, and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic Systems. Quality audit responsibilities for ISO certification will also be part of your job scope. You will be required to manage the sales process through tenders of nodal agencies, including pre-tender work, liaisoning, and post-tender bid activities.
