Design Head

As a Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant Engineer, you will be responsible for both basic and detailed engineering tasks associated with solar PV projects. Your duties will include designing kW and MW SPV power plants in compliance with Indian/IEC Standards, developing design tools for power evacuation systems, standardizing engineering processes, and designing auxiliary distribution systems for SPV projects. Additionally, you will be involved in the design of String Monitoring Boxes, SCADA system architecture, and IO List creation for SPV projects. Your role will also require site support, coordination with vendors, and collaboration with other departments such as Purchase and Quality. You will play a key role in selecting vendors and contractors for SPV projects, preparing detailed Bill of Materials, system descriptions, single line diagrams, and drawings for the supply, installation, and commissioning of Solar Photovoltaic Systems. Quality audit responsibilities for ISO certification will also be part of your job scope. To qualify for this position, you should have core experience in Composites, hold a B.E. degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, and possess a minimum of 12-14 years of experience, with at least 8-12 years specifically in Solar PV projects. Knowledge of Composite Design and Processes will be an added advantage.
