As a Mechanical Design Engineer, your role involves translating the clients' briefing into design proposals using the best reliable products that suit their requirements. Your key responsibilities will include: - Recommending mechanical solutions and designs to clients while considering their budget, timelines, and other essential parameters. - Overseeing the entire lifecycle of planning, designing, testing, and implementation of mechanical projects. - Acting as a bridge between the company, clients, and manufacturers to ensure smooth communication and project execution. - Analyzing mechanical designs and refining them according to the clients' requirements. - Adhering to national and local compliance regulations, standards, and the company's ethos. - Troubleshooting problems and devising solutions to design-related issues during installation. - Using CAD and 3D CAD programs to review mechanical design projects. - Developing and maintaining the continuous improvement of technical standards, design guidelines, and procedures within the department. - Ensuring compliance with industry standards, client specifications, and safety regulations while leading a team of design engineers to deliver innovative lift solutions for clients. - Overseeing the conceptualization, design, and development of training programs within the organization to align with business needs and effectively impart necessary skills and knowledge to employees. Qualifications required for this role: - Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. - Prior experience working as a mechanical design engineer. - Knowledge in dealing with engineering drawings and 3D modeling. Preferred qualifications include: - Master's degree in mechanical engineering. - Strong verbal, written, and communication skills.
