Job Description

Role Purpose:

To lead the design function for Trident Groups Home Textiles business, creating trend-led, commercially viable collections aligned with key international markets (US, UK, EU) and global retailer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Define and drive design strategy for Home Textiles across Bed, Bath & Living categories
Develop seasonal concepts aligned to US, UK & European market trends
Work directly with international retailers on range building, customization, and buyer briefs
Translate market-specific trends into commercially successful export collections
Lead and mentor the design team; manage sampling, product development, and timelines
Partner with merchandising, sourcing & production teams to ensure cost, quality & feasibility
Drive innovation in fabrics, colours, textures, finishes & techniques as per market needs
Ensure adherence to global quality standards and on-time delivery for export markets

Key Requirements:

Degree in Textile Design (NIFT or equivalent)
10+ years of experience in Home Textiles design
Mandatory exposure to international retailers – Home Division
Strong understanding of US, UK & EU market preferences and trends
Proven leadership and cross-functional coordination skills
