Strategic Supplier Management Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring alignment with long-term business objectives, cost targets, quality standards, and on-time delivery performance. • Procurement Planning & Execution Lead end-to-end procurement processes including supplier identification, RFQs/RFPs, evaluation, contract negotiation, and purchase order management in alignment with project and production schedules. • Compliance & Regulatory Oversight Ensure all procurement activities comply with aerospace industry standards (e.g., AS9100, ITAR, FAR/DFARS), company policies, and applicable legal and ethical guidelines.
• Risk and Performance Management Identify and mitigate procurement and supply chain risks. Monitor supplier performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions where necessary to ensure quality, delivery, and cost targets are met. • Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with Engineering, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, and Program Management teams to ensure seamless integration of purchased materials and services into production and development pipelines. • Project Support and Governance Provide procurement support to aerospace programs, including participation in project reviews, milestone planning, and governance documentation. • Cost Control and Value Engineering Drive cost optimization initiatives and participate in value engineering efforts to enhance supplier capabilities and reduce total cost of ownership. • Contract Management Develop, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts, ensuring clear service level agreements (SLAs), warranties, delivery terms, and performance obligations. • Supplier Development Support supplier development initiatives to improve supply chain capability, innovation, and responsiveness, particularly with strategic and high-risk vendors.
Strong knowledge of aerospace procurement standards and regulatory compliance requirements. • Proven experience with strategic sourcing, supplier negotiation, and contract management. • Ability to manage complex supplier relationships and multi-year agreements. • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and procurement tools. • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills. • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven, high-precision environment.
