Role & responsibilities . Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement design and development strategies, aligning with business objectives and industry trends. 2. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of engineers, designers, and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities. 3. Project Management: Oversee multiple design and development projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. 4. Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance on design and development projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. 5. Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation, learning, and improvement. 6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless execution. 7. Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage budgets and resources, ensuring effective allocation and utilization. Preferred candidate profile - Strong understanding of engineering principles, including mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics. - Knowledge in GD & T - Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. - Proficiency in CAD design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro- E and other design related etc.).
