Role & responsibilities . Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement design and development strategies, aligning with business objectives and industry trends. 2. Team Management: Lead and manage a team of engineers, designers, and technicians, providing guidance, mentorship, and development opportunities. 3. Project Management: Oversee multiple design and development projects, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery. 4. Technical Oversight: Provide technical oversight and guidance on design and development projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. 5. Innovation: Foster a culture of innovation, encouraging experimentation, learning, and improvement. 6. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure seamless execution. 7. Budgeting and Resource Allocation: Manage budgets and resources, ensuring effective allocation and utilization. 8. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implementing changes to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity. Preferred candidate profile We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead our Design and Development team. As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and development of innovative products, systems, and processes, ensuring alignment with business objectives and industry trends. Strong understanding of engineering principles, including mechanics, materials, and thermodynamics. - Knowledge in GD & T - Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. - Proficiency in CAD design software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Pro- E and other design related etc.). Nice to Have: 1. Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of industry-specific design standards and regulations. 2. Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles, including finance, marketing, and sales. 3. Certifications: Certification in project management (PMP) or design thinking
