Role & responsibilities POSITION DETAILS Position Summary The Stores manager directs the activities of employees engaged in Receiving, Warehouse & logistics. He needs to also ensure the safety of workers in the organization by setting safety policies for the department. Principal Activities • Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, Inbound and Outbound activities. • Direct, coordinate and monitor the team • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency • Supervise, coach and train warehouse workforce • Define KPI for the team • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements • Overseeing the movement, storage, and distribution of goods or materials • Working in relation to production departments, quality assurance, and supply chain analysts in the organization Preferred candidate profile logistics, warehouse, Inbound and Outbound activities.
