Job Description

Role & responsibilities - Good leadership and communication skills (both written and verbal) and a good team player - Sound knowledge of latest inbound and outbound logistics procedures - Analysis of the existing systems & processes, identify the gaps & introduce the corrective measures wherever necessary to enhance the effectiveness of all the internal business processes & practices to boost customer satisfaction - Sound knowledge of latest engineering techniques and tools as well as latest lean processes especially used in the logistics and stores activities - Coordinate with PPC, Production, Quality, Purchase and Procurement team to ensure the dispatch of customer schedule. - Effectively co-ordinate with transportation team and should be hands on exposure to ERP i.e. SAP HANA functions and MS office functions. - Should have sound knowledge of excise and customs clearance procedures, legal returns etc. - Sound knowledge of the export / import procedures and control internal stock inventory of raw material items - Sound knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 45000, OHSAS and EMS procedures Preferred candidate profile - Relevant experience of minimum 10 15 years in managing Stores, Inventory management and managing Logistics functions preferably in an OEM / auto component / retail / sheet metal components manufacturing industry
