Job Description

As a Procurement Manager in the textile industry, your role involves overseeing the procurement responsibilities for both garmenting and non-garmenting materials and finished goods. This includes negotiating with suppliers and vendors on pricing and terms/conditions. Your key responsibilities include: - Building and maintaining long-term relationships with vendors and suppliers. - Controlling the procurement budget and fostering a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs. - Implementing strategies for inventory reduction. - Ensuring the right quality, price, and timely delivery of materials. - Conducting supplier evaluations, including visiting suppliers" plants. - Participating in trade shows and meetings. - Attending daily team meetings to discuss procurement strategies and updates.
