Manager

We are looking for an experienced and dedicated Manager to oversee poultry feed production, delivery logistics, and egg procurement. The role requires strong operational knowledge of feed mills, supply chain management, and farmer/vendor relationship handling. Key ResponsibilitiesFeed Production & Quality Supervise daily feed production (target ~50tons/day). Ensure consistent quality standards and cost-efficient operations. Coordinate with raw material suppliers (maize, soya, additives, etc.). Implement SOPs for quality control and machine maintenance. Logistics & Delivery Plan and monitor delivery of feed to farms/customers on schedule. Manage vehicle routes, drivers, and transport efficiency. Control logistics costs and reduce wastage/delay. Egg Procurement Build and maintain relationships with poultry farmers. Negotiate fair procurement rates and ensure regular supply. Monitor egg quality, tray count, and timely collections. Coordinate with accounts for farmer/vendor payments. Team Management Supervise production staff, drivers, and support team. Train and motivate employees to maintain high standards. Report daily operations to management. Required Qualifications & SkillsGraduate in Poultry Science, Animal Husbandry, Agri Business, or related field (preferred). 5+ years of experience in poultry feed production / farm management / procurement / logistics. Knowledge of poultry feed formulations, raw materials, and industry standards. Strong negotiation and vendor management skills. Ability to handle workforce, vehicles, and field operations. Proficiency in MS Office / ERP software (basic level). Must be based in or willing to relocate to Namakkal.
