We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Poultry Farm Manager to lead and oversee day-to-day operations at our poultry facility. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in poultry farming, excellent leadership skills, and the energy to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. This role is critical to ensuring high levels of productivity, bird health, biosecurity, and team performance. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily management of poultry operations (broiler/layer/breeder, as applicable). Monitor bird health, growth, feed conversion, and mortality rates. Ensure adherence to biosecurity protocols and animal welfare standards. Manage and supervise farm staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance reviews. Coordinate with veterinary professionals for health checks and vaccinations. Monitor inventory and manage supply of feed, medicines, and equipment. Maintain accurate records on flock performance, production, and environmental conditions. Identify and resolve operational issues promptly and efficiently. Implement cost control measures and ensure optimal resource utilization. Prepare periodic reports for senior management on farm performance and improvements. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Agriculture, Animal Science, Poultry Science, or related field. Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in managing commercial poultry farms. Strong understanding of poultry nutrition, disease control, and farm automation systems. Energetic, hands-on, and results-driven leadership style. Ability to work in rural or semi-urban locations. Good communication and team management skills. Familiarity with safety, hygiene, and environmental compliance. Preferred Qualities: Tech-savvy with exposure to smart farming tools. Proactive and passionate about productivity and quality improvements. Ability to motivate and build a high-performance team culture.
