Job Description

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for an Accountant, located in Chennai. The Accountant will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Day-to-day tasks include maintaining financial records, preparing tax returns, analyzing financial data, and collaborating with internal teams to support budgeting and financial planning. Qualifications Proficiency in account management, general ledger management, and financial reporting Skills in tax preparation and compliance Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Attention to detail and accuracy in financial operations Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Professional certification such as CPA or CA is a plus Experience in the retail or grocery industry is preferred
