• Position: Asst. Manager / Dy. Manager / Manager - Logistic & Supply Chain / PPIC

• Markets: Domestic + Global Markets

• Products: Topical & Ophthalmic Formulations

• Location: Mumbai

Job Profile:

Logistics (Exports & Imports):

• Lead end-to-end export & import operations (Sea & Air) including documentation, freight negotiations, customs clearance, and compliance.
• Ensure timely Proforma Invoices, Packing Lists, Shipping Bills, BOE, BRC, L/C documentation as per global trade regulations.
• Build and manage relationships with freight forwarders, CHAs, transporters, and banks to optimize cost, service quality, and delivery timelines.
• Oversee freight cost analysis and drive cost-saving initiatives without compromising service levels.
• Monitor vessel/flight schedules and proactively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to meet deadlines.
• Ensure proper filing, compliance, and audit readiness for all import/export transactions.

Supply Chain & Customer Support:

• Oversee Sales Order Management, artwork checklist approvals, and ERP code creation for new packaging materials.
• Drive production planning in alignment with demand, procurement, and inventory levels.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Production, QA/QC to ensure RM/PM availability and timely dispatch of finished goods.
• Maintain open order statements, dispatch schedules, and readiness communications with customers.
• Act as the primary point of escalation for supply chain disruptions and implement corrective actions.

Leadership & Continuous Improvement:

• Mentor and guide a team for logistics and supply chain execution.
• Implement best practices in documentation, compliance, and cost control.
• Drive digitalization initiatives (ERP, automation of reports, dashboards) for efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to strengthen supply chain resilience and customer satisfaction.

Desired Profile:

• Graduate / Post Graduate (Supply Chain / International Business / Logistic / related filed) with 7 to 10 years of experience with Pharma Formulations in Supply Chain Management & Logistic operation.
• Experience in both domestic and international pharma supply chain operations.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chains for regulated pharmaceutical products, including formulations, and biopharmaceuticals.
• Strong knowledge of EXIM procedures, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
• Proven track record of negotiating with freight forwarders and driving cost optimization.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and collaborating with global stakeholders.
• Ability to manage complex supply networks and deliver in high-pressure, quality-critical environments.
• Hands-on experience in ERP systems (SAP / CENTRICS ).
• Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work across various stakeholders (internal teams, external partners, regulatory bodies).
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to navigate and lead through complex challenges and changing market conditions.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to manage and motivate teams towards achieving ambitious business objectives.
• Fluent in English; proficiency in other languages is a plus.
