Job Purpose: Seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to lead and optimize our warehousing and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will bring over 15 years of hands-on experience in managing large-scale warehouses, multi-modal logistics operations, and leading cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning & Execution:

• Design and implement comprehensive logistics strategies to support business objectives.
• Plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation, and customer services.

Warehouse & Logistics Management:

• Oversee operations of regional/mother warehouse networks.
• Ensure proper inventory control, stock accuracy, and on-time dispatches.
• Implement best practices in warehouse layout, automation, safety, and compliance.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including coordination with 3PL partners.
• Negotiate contracts with carriers and logistics vendors for cost savings and improved service.
• Monitor and analyze transportation/ warehouse costs and performance metrics.

Team Leadership:

• Lead and develop a high-performing warehousing and logistics team.
• Train staff in warehouse best practices, SOPs, and safety protocols.
• o Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Compliance & Risk Management:

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, legal, and environmental standards.
• Develop contingency plans for supply chain disruptions.

Technology & Innovation:

• Leverage WMS, ERP, and TMS tools for data-driven decision-making.
• Drive digitization and automation projects to improve productivity.

Key Requirement:

Candidate must have experience in managing large teams across transportation and warehousing .

In-depth knowledge of warehousing, distribution, transportation, and logistics systems.

Hands-on experience with SAP/WMS/TMS, and other logistics software. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with strong skills in data analysis, reporting,

Strong industry connections with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders. Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Preferred/Additional Qualifications:MBA
• Minimum Experience: Minimum 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Industry preference: Experience in FMCD, FMCG, e-commerce, or retail sectors.
