Responsibilities :

Work in the capacity of Individual contributor in the project. Take lead in executing complex tasks and engage with the client to develop an understanding of needs and deliverables. Identify relevant data sources and sets to mine for client business needs. Analyze data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with a clear objective in mind. Research and devise innovative statistical/machine learning models for data analysis. Communicate analytic solutions to senior stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

4– 9 years of experience in data science position (preferably in Banking and Financial Services). Master's degree in economics, mathematics, engineering, computer science, operations research or related areas is preferred; candidates with BA/BS degrees from the top tier academic institutions are also welcome to apply.Experience in programming in Python, SQL and/or SAS. Understanding of basic statistical techniques like t-tests, chi-square tests, hypothesis testing, regression analysis, etc.Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms, such as Classification, Clustering,Random Forest, XGBoost,GBM, Neural Networks, Keras. Industry experience related to data science will be preferred over academic/online projects or courses. Good communication and presentation skills. Excellent problem-solving skills.
