About The Role We are looking for a strong, action-oriented operations manager to join the Mobility team in South India to help us turbocharge our regional growth bets and enhance driver experience on the platform. At Uber, the Regional Operations team is at the heart of our business, driving performance and innovation on the ground. It is the frontline team ensuring seamless execution of strategies, solving complex challenges, and enabling growth in our cities. From optimizing marketplace dynamics to enhancing driver and rider experiences, our work directly impacts millions of lives every day. What The Candidate Will Do Supply Growth - Lead efforts to drive supply growth by identifying and developing scalable supply acquisition channels. Design, implement, and optimize operational processes, leveraging automation to enhance efficiency and support sustainable business growth. Data Analysis - Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to understand driver behavior and trends. Translate insights into actionable strategies to improve driver experiences, optimize performance, and strengthen supply retention. Project management and problem-solving - Identify and address city-specific supply challenges by leveraging data-driven analysis and operational expertise. Plan, execute, and manage multiple initiatives across cities, ensuring excellence in a dynamic environment. Stakeholder management and teamwork - Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, including marketplace, marketing, and product, to align on goals and drive impactful strategies that contribute to the long-term growth of the business What The Candidate Will Need 2+ years of experience in Operations / Consulting / Supply Chain / Strategy experience with the ability to take initiative in a constantly changing work environment. Naturally curious and motivated to solve problems, however complicated or ambiguous they may be. Ability to understand root cause elements, break down complexities, and create a structured approach and design workstreams to achieve the objective. Data-driven decision-making mentality and sound business judgment through strong analytical thinking and experimentation. SQL knowledge is a plus.
