Manager, Business Intelligence & Reporting

Our Data, Intelligence & Analytics function is focused on driving innovation through optimizing how we leverage digital, data and AI to drive strategy and differentiate ourselves from the competition. As we develop an enterprise-wide data and digital strategy that moves us toward greater focus on the use of data and strengthen our digital, AI capabilities, we are seeking a Manager, BI and Reporting. In this role you will support/manage BI & reporting.

What You’ll Be DOING

What will your essential responsibilities include?
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication: Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholder expectations, facilitate collaboration, and communicate BI and reporting insights clearly across various levels of the organization.
  • Business & Technical Support: Provide expert support and management of BI and reporting products, ensuring they meet business needs and maintain high performance standards.
  • Leadership & Synergy Building: Lead efforts to energize and unify diverse Business Intelligence models and reporting frameworks, fostering collaboration and consistency across teams.
  • Strategic Initiative Support: Contribute to and support strategic initiatives related to BI and reporting, enabling the development of organizational capabilities and future growth.
  • Talent Development & Inclusion: Develop and nurture BI and reporting talent across AXA XL, promoting an inclusive culture that drives usage, value creation, and innovation in digital, data, and analytics assets.
  • Customer-Centric Mindset: Prioritize a customer-first approach by delivering exceptional service to business stakeholders, understanding their needs, and providing actionable insights.
  • Team & Culture Development: Support the continuous improvement of the BI team’s tools, skills, and culture, fostering a positive environment that encourages growth, innovation, and high performance.
You will report to Senior Delivery Lead, BI & Reporting.

  • Business & Insurance Acumen: Supports multiple specialty areas with an effective understanding of business and insurance contexts.
  • Simplifies Complexity: Breaks down complex data and technical concepts into understandable insights for diverse audiences.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manages relationships effectively across various stakeholder groups, ensuring alignment and satisfaction.
  • Communication & Leadership: Excellent communicator within teams, across global units, and with stakeholders; capable of leading projects and teams.
  • Educational & Professional Experience: Minimum of a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant discipline; relevant years supporting data and analytics roles.
  • Digital & Data Enthusiasm: Passionate about digital transformation, data, and AI; experienced working in data-driven organizations.
  • BI Tool Expertise: Relevant years of end-user experience with BI tools such as Power BI and related technologies.
  • Agile Methodologies: Understanding of Agile frameworks and tools like Jira, supporting flexible project management and delivery.
  • Project & Team Leadership: Ability to lead projects and teams, fostering collaboration and ensuring successful outcomes.
