Job Summary:

Business Development Manager (BDM) Government & Infrastructure Sales

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Business Growth

  • Identify, develop, and execute business opportunities in

    government projects, Smart City initiatives, Railways, Metro, CPWD, PWD, and SEBs

    .
  • Build strong relationships with senior officials, industry leaders, and policymakers.
  • Drive market intelligence to position GM Modulars products in high-value government contracts.

Project-Based Sales & Consultative Selling

  • Engage with

    EPC firms, consultants, and project managers

    to ensure GM Modular products are specified in infrastructure projects.
  • Drive participation in high-value

    bidding and tendering processes

    for national and state-level projects.
  • Develop proposals and presentations to showcase GM Modular’s capabilities.

Government & PSU Liaison

  • Work closely with

    bureaucrats, government agencies, and urban development bodies

    to understand procurement trends.
  • Ensure

    GeM portal registrations, empanelment with PSUs, and contract approvals

    are streamlined.
  • Stay updated on policy changes that affect government infrastructure investments.

Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis

  • Conduct thorough competitor analysis to develop market penetration strategies.
  • Provide insights on government budget allocations and upcoming infrastructure tenders.
  • Represent GM Modular at

    industry conferences, trade shows, and networking forums

Key Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification:

    MBA or Bachelor's degree in

    Business, Engineering, or related fields

    .
  • Industry Experience:

    Strong background in

    business development, project sales, and strategic market penetration

    .
  • Knowledge of Government Procurement:

    Expertise in

    government bidding processes, PSU sales, and large-scale tenders

    .
  • Networking & Relationship Building:

    Proven ability to engage with high-level stakeholders.
  • Willingness to Travel:

    Extensive travel for government meetings and project discussions.
