: BE with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical or InstrumentationWe are seeking an experienced and results-driven Manager/ Assistant Manager–Projects for the Site Execution to oversee the execution of large-scale irrigation projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and proven expertise in managing site-based activities, ensuring timely delivery, quality control, and compliance with project specifications and safety standards.

Role & Responsibilities'

Project Planning & Execution:

Develop detailed project plans, budgets, schedules, and resource requirements.Ensure execution aligns with technical designs, environmental standards, and contractual obligations.

Team Management

Lead multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, contractors, field staff, and subcontractors.Monitor performance, conduct reviews, and ensure quality control on all deliverables.

Client And Vendors Coordination

Act as the primary point of contact between clients, local authorities, consultants, and internal departments.Conduct regular meetings and prepare status reports for stakeholders.

Procurement & Resource Management

Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services.Ensure proper inventory management and timely mobilization of resources.

Risk & Compliance Management

Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.Ensure compliance with all legal, environmental, and safety regulations.

Monitoring & Reporting

Track project milestones, financial performance, and resource utilization.Use project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, ERP) to report progress.

Requirement

  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in execution of large-scale irrigation/canal/lift irrigation pipeline or water resource projects.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on experience in managing large site teams and multiple contractors.
  • Proficiency in MS office, AutoCAD, and project management tools.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, environmental guidelines, and government regulations related to irrigation projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willing to relocate and stay at project sites as per requirement.
